ImageCat is headquartered in Long Beach, California, with a European office in London, England. Since its establishment in 2000, ImageCat has helped Government agencies, industry clients and research organizations prepare for and respond to disasters including: Hurricane Katrina; the Indian Ocean tsunami; the Northridge, Bam and Niigata earthquakes; and 9/11. Government clients: include FEMA; U.S. Department of Transportation; the Federal Highway Administration; DARPA; NIST; and the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services. Research clients include the National Science Foundation; the Multidisciplinary Center for Earthquake Engineering Research; the Pacific Earthquake Engineering Research Center; and NASA.
